We need YOU to help make the 2024 Gus Macker Tournament a great one-of-a-kind basketball experience for everyone! GUS MACKER IM will feature – Friday Night July 19: Team Registrations, Photos With Gus Macker & Shoot Arounds; Saturday Contests: Free Throws, 3-Point Shooting and Slam Dunk. All proceeds benefit building renovations at the Imagination Factory Community Center in Iron Mountain.
“The Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament” was originated in 1974 by Scott McNeal (alias Gus Macker) on his parents’ driveway basketball court in Lowell, Michigan. It started with 18 friends playing competitively. Scott McNeal proudly announced the mindset is THINK BIG and everyone is FIRED UP for the 50th Anniversary 3on3 Gus Macker Basketball Tournaments in 2024.
